The Faith Based Partnership Initiative is an effort to support the establishment of collaborative partnerships between churches, community & civic organizations, and businesses to develop holistic approaches to work with poor and working poor individuals and families. By holistic we mean efforts that not only address spiritual or personal development, but also educational and economic development.

We work with our Partners to:

• Provide life enrichment activities
  
• Provide educational opportunities
  
• Provide decent wage jobs
  
• Improve job retention
  
• Decrease government dependence 
  

We do this through a combination of workshops and technical support options for the staff and key leadership of our partner organizations.  We also help our partners develop collaborative relationships with community residents, community organizations, and employers, that focus on securing and retaining jobs, and encouraging life transforming support services for the people served by our efforts.
